Divemaster (DM)

The first step into the professional scuba diving world is as a Divemaster!

Become an underwater rockstar and the diver that students and non-divers turn to for questions and support. Working with our team of experienced divers, instructors and trainers you will become a role model and develop skills in:

  • Becoming a dive guide.
  • Teaching and mentoring techniques.
  • Learn to work with novice and experienced divers across various SDI course. 
  • Enhancing your buddy skills to look after dive groups and instructional staff.
  • Learn the physical and psychological implications for divers. 
  • Your dive skills will be increased to demonstration quality.
  • Your diving, first response and environmental knowledge will be brought to a professional level.

What do the fees include?

All airfills required for course 
Registration fees with SDI upon completion

What don’t fees include?
Any personal costs (eg. food, drink, accommodation) and your personal Professional-Diving-Equipment.

What’s next?
Upon successful completion you will have taken an important step to become a diving professional. Beyond this Divemaster qualification you can take the SDI Assistant Instructor course and gain more experience and capabilities in teaching certain courses while always developing a deeper knowledge in diving and safety.

Requirements
1. Minimum age 18 years
2. Certified SDI Advanced Adventure Diver or equivalent;  
3. Required experience in deep, navigation, night/limited vision
4. Certified SDI Rescue Diver or equivalent
5. Proof of current CPR, first aid and O2 provider levels
6. Proof of at least 40 logged dives to begin the course

Duration
The course will have at least 40 hours training, minimum 30 under direct supervision of our team. 
All courses are designed to fit to the student level and will expand as required to meet comfort and completion requirements from students and instructional staff.
