The SDI Assistant Instructor is the next logical step after the SDI Divemaster.
Through the Assistant Instructor course you will continue to build on your experience as a professional diver. While gaining teaching experience, doing briefings and presenting dive theory you will begin to assist more and more the instructional staff along with the ability to teach certain courses.
AI is an amazing way to gain the experience required to further your dive career or simply your dive knowledge, capability and enjoyment!

What’s next?
Upon successful completion you will have taken the next step as a diving professional. Beyond this course and experience you will be able to advance your career and diving capabilities further in completing the SDI Instructor Development course and Instructor Evaluation to become an Open Water Scuba and Speciality Diving Instructor.
Requirements
1. Minimum age 18 years
2. Certified SDI Divemaster or equivalent
3. Proof of current CPR, first aid and O2 providers
4. Proof of at least 60 logged dives or 50 logged dives and 25 hours of diving time
5. Own diving equipment at instructor level (in standards)
Duration
The course will have at least 70 hours training under supervision of our team.
All courses are designed to fit to the student level and will expand as required to meet comfort and completion requirements from students and instructional staff.
